COCO is a purpose-built ecosystem designed to strip away the noise of traditional social media and return the spotlight to pure craftsmanship.
By prioritizing artistic merit over algorithmic trends, it provides a dedicated space where new-age creators can collaborate, showcase their work, and build a legacy based on passion rather than performance.
Challenges & Outcomes
Key product challenges were addressed through deliberate design decisions, system thinking, and mobile-first trade-offs.
| Challenge | Design Approach | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Enterprise-level feature complexity on mobile | Reduced workflows into high-frequency actions with progressive disclosure. | Clear, task-focused screens without overwhelming users. |
| Cognitive overload in dense information states | Strong visual hierarchy, spacing, and predictable interaction patterns. | Faster comprehension and reduced error states. |
| Inconsistent UI patterns across features | Introduced a unified mobile design system with reusable components and tokens. | Scalable UI foundation and faster iteration cycles. |
| Collaboration friction between design and engineering | Concurrent design approach with early technical validation. | Reduced rework and smoother production handoff. |

Final Output
COCO successfully transitioned from concept to a functional Version 1.0 within a rapid two-month design and development cycle. To validate product–market fit, the platform was launched as a localized Closed Beta in Goa, targeting a high-density community of creators and artists.
The beta phase focused on testing the core hypothesis — whether a merit-based, creativity-first social ecosystem could drive meaningful engagement without traditional social validation mechanics.
Initial Adoption
80–100
Active Closed Beta testers
User Sentiment
60%
Positive feedback validating core value
Organic Growth
150–200
Users within 3 months post-beta
Despite consistent engagement and steady organic growth, the project was eventually paused due to external personal factors. However, the beta conclusively demonstrated tangible demand for a platform centered on creative merit rather than algorithmic popularity.
COCO concluded with a validated insight: there is a real opportunity for a focused, creativity-first social ecosystem — one that prioritizes craft, contribution, and community over vanity metrics.
